Goal
Build a guided mobile experience that helps aspiring entrepreneurs move from idea to early validation through structured content, AI-supported prompts, and optional professional consultation.
The project was developed in collaboration with Transferagentur as part of the M-Lab course at the University of Hamburg.
Stack
LaunchLab was built as a native iOS app using Swift and SwiftUI. The app combines interactive learning modules with AI-assisted features and backend services to support document generation and consultation flows.
The focus was on creating a clear, approachable interface while integrating more complex functionality such as AI guidance and external consultant access.
Key Decisions
The product was structured around step-by-step learning paths rather than open-ended exploration, making it easier for users to progress through early startup phases without feeling overwhelmed.
AI features were deliberately framed as supportive tools instead of replacements for human feedback. This led to a hybrid model combining automated guidance with real consultant interaction, keeping the experience grounded and practical.
From a technical perspective, the app prioritized clarity and maintainability over feature density, allowing the team to iterate quickly while keeping the codebase approachable.
Outcome
LaunchLab was released on the App Store and delivered as a complete student project in collaboration with external partners. The app demonstrates building a production-ready SwiftUI application in a team setting, integrating AI-assisted flows and structured educational content.
Further Details
LaunchLab was developed within a small student team, where I helped coordinate development, shape product direction, and implement core features. The project combined mobile engineering with product thinking, balancing technical execution with user experience and real-world constraints.
The result is a shipped iOS app that blends education, automation, and human support into a cohesive onboarding experience for early-stage founders.
